Naginata Boko leads the parade every year, with its 20 meter tall halbard dedicated to "cutting through" bad luck and evil influences. In the past, all the hoko carried a child inside, but in modern times, only Naginata Boko has an actual boy whose parents are no doubt very proud. And rich.
